Our Expertise

What 30+ years looks like in practice

We’ve been at the forefront of out-of-school-time research and programming since the 1990s. That work shaped the evidence base that practitioners across the country use today. We consistently get strong results year after year. Club BX translates that deep expert research into a daily reality for kids and their families.

Research-grounded curriculum.

Our programs are built on decades of study into what makes out-of-school-time programming effective. The activities aren’t filler — they’re designed to develop the whole child with the opportunity to explore, create and thrive.

Staff who know what they're doing.

Every Club BX staff member is background-checked, trained expert, and supported by our program team. We don’t hand over a curriculum and wish them luck.

Technology that keeps everyone in the loop.

Club BX programs run on Arly — a platform built specifically for out-of-school-time providers. Enrollment, payments, attendance, check-in/check-out, and compliance reporting, all in one place.
Our Curriculum

Curriculum that builds skills and confidence

Months gained through homework and academic support.

Dedicated time and guidance to stay on track. Club BX consistently sees +3 months gained in math and +2.5 months gained in literacy. Year after year.

STEAM and creative arts.

A diverse mix of STEAM, arts, physical activity, and life skills, all led by caring instructors on a strong foundation of engaging high-quality practices.

Life skills, leadership and active play

Club BX creates experiences that enrich kids’ minds and bodies—building confidence, teamwork, and problem-solving through sports, games, and outdoor play.

Arly Explorers gives K–8 kids the life skills they need—and the confidence to use them. With hands-on lessons and engaging activities, this thoughtful curriculum goes beyond teaching—it helps strengthen and shape a positive program culture.

FAQ

For Families

How do I enroll my child?
Find your school on the Schools page, then click ‘Enroll Now.’ Registration is handled through Arly — you’ll create an account, pick your program and schedule, and complete payment online. The whole thing takes less than five minutes and your spot is confirmed right away.
What does my child do in the program each day?
Every day includes homework time, a snack, enrichment activities, and time to move. Depending on the location and grade level, kids can choose from STEAM projects, arts, fitness challenges, outdoor play, and student-choice clubs. It’s structured enough to be productive and fun enough that kids don’t want to leave.
Is a snack provided?
Yes — a daily snack is included at all Club BX locations. Students are welcome to bring their own nut-free snacks if they prefer. All surfaces are cleaned before and after snack time.
Who are the staff?
All Club BX staff are recruited, hired, and trained directly by Club BX. Everyone goes through fingerprinted background checks before their first day. Staff wear branded Club BX gear and identification badges so they’re always easy to identify.
What happens on school holidays and early release days?
This depends on your specific school district. When the school allows it, we operate extended camp days during most scheduled holidays. If school is closed due to weather or other unplanned circumstances, Club BX typically does not operate either. We’ll always notify families in advance through the Arly app.
Is financial assistance available?
Subsidy programs and scholarships may be available depending on your state and family situation. Reach out to us through the Contact page and we’ll help connect you with the right resources.
Can Club BX accommodate my child's special needs?
Yes. We believe every child deserves a high-quality program experience. Our staff receive training to support students with a range of needs, and we work directly with families and schools to make sure your child has what they need to participate and thrive. Contact us to talk through your specific situation.
How does pickup and check-out work?
Authorized adults are listed during enrollment in Arly. At pickup, staff verify identity before a child is released.
My school isn't listed. What do I do?
Use the Contact page to let us know. We’re expanding regularly and your request helps us decide where to go next.

For School Partners

What does Club BX actually manage?
Everything from start to finish in running the program: staffing, training, scheduling, daily programming, family enrollment and payment collection, compliance documentation, and ongoing family communication. Your school provides the space. We handle the rest.
How long does it take to get up and running?
[CLIENT: Provide the real timeline from signed agreement to first day of programming. Example: Most schools are live within 8–12 weeks of signing the partnership agreement.]
What does our school need to provide?
Primarily, space. We identify which rooms or outdoor areas work during the planning process. Your staff is not responsible for running or managing the program. We’ll ask for introductions to key contacts — front office, principal, and facilities lead — to make the setup smooth.
Is there a cost to the school?
[CLIENT: Explain your revenue and cost-share model clearly. Schools evaluating this question are making a financial decision — be specific and transparent here.]
What platform do you use for enrollment and reporting?
Club BX programs run on Arly, a management platform built specifically for out-of-school-time providers. Arly handles family registration, payments, attendance, check-in/check-out with e-signatures, incident reporting, and compliance documentation. Administrators get real-time access to program data without managing any of it directly.
